| Description: | HYBRIDISER’S DESCRIPTION When I made this cross, I was obviously trying to bring the exciting qualities of my very best, cutting edge eye-edged single daylilies into my double daylily lines. And what a wonderful result. Turning up the heat brings the wide edges, dark saturated color, ruffling and gold edging into the double daylily. The self color is a melon peach to orange. The flowers have a very large, dark saturated purple eye and matching picotee. The ruffled edges are surrounded in a crunchy gold edge. The eye and ruffled double edge are mimicked on the petaloids.
